The Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine (CEBM) based at the University of Oxford is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the practice, teaching and dissemination of high quality evidence-based medicine to improve healthcare in everyday clinical practice. CEBM was founded by David Sackett in 1995 and since 2010 has been led by Professor Carl Heneghan, a Clinical Epidemiologist and General Practitioner. The Centre is part of the University's Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences.〔http://www.phc.ox.ac.uk/research/oxford-centre-for-evidence-based-medicine〕 ==Teaching and degrees== Most members of CEBM are active teachers of the discipline and teach Evidence Based Medicine at a variety of levels including undergraduate, postgraduate, beginner and advanced levels.
